Burning Man
The Burning Man gathering has become an annual celebration with installations of large scale art including an array of fire sculpture. People make the journey to the Black Rock Desert for one week out of the year to be part of an experimental community. You are encouraged to visit this site either vicariously or in person.

Atlanta Public Art Legacy – APAL
The Atlanta Public Art Legacy fund (APAL) was established in 1997 as a successor to the Corporation for Olympic Development in Atlanta to assure appropriate ongoing care and to provide education and advocacy services for public art. APAL’s charge is to conserve and maintain public artworks and monuments at 19 sites featuring nearly 100 works created by 42 artists in downtown Atlanta. APAL operates as a conservation and maintenance fund fiscally managed by The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, Inc.
